The Physical Society of Berlin (Physikalische Gesellschaft zu Berlin) invites you to this year's Karl Scheel Meeting, at which the physicists Dr. Tom Seifert (Freie Universität Berlin) and Dr. Gustav Mogull (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) will be awarded the Karl Scheel Prize 2024.

he prize winners will present details about their research in talks. The laudatory speeches will be held by Prof. Dr. Tobias Kampfrath (FU Berlin) and Prof. Dr. Jan Plefka (HU Berlin).

The award ceremony will take place in the Magnus-Haus in Berlin's Mitte district and will be accompanied by a musical program as well as food and drinks.

About Klar Scheel Prize

The prize of the Physikalische Gesellschaft zu Berlin (PGzB) is awarded to a society's member for an outstanding scientific achievement made at a research institution in Berlin or Brandenburg in the years immediately following a doctorate. The prize, endowed with €5,000, has been awarded annually since 1958.
