Dr. Sabine Oldemeyer
At the Heberle group I’m currently working on the analysis of light driven proton and anion pumps using infrared and UV-vis spectroscopy.
During my time as a Postdoc at the UC Berkeley (USA) I investigated energy transfer processes in various dye molecules using ultra-fast two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy. I also continued my studies on a Cryptochrome, a project started during my time as a PhD student at the Bielefeld University. I earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Bielefeld University, with a main focus on the investigation of biological light receptors.
